WSOP 2008 is round the corner, and the Hog Roast is back. I’m actually going to keep this going now, and eventually move it to hoodster.com, which I own but haven’t had the time to sort out. Anyway, in the meantime, much has happened since last year, most of which I can’t quite be bothered to go into )

One thing is a new found love for the purest of poker forms, 2-7 triple draw(!) Its a truly sick game which we’ve been playing for a couple of months at my place and gradually working out. There’s a cracking chapter on it in Super System 2 by Daniel Negreanu, which was a real eye-opener, and I’m half of a mind to play the $2500 limit game at the WSOP, along with the $1500 NLH I’m entering anyway. I’ll be trying to satellite into a load of others at the Rio, where live satellites are running all the time. Anyway, more on 2-7 later…

Bring on June 20th, and the WSOP!
